Give Back on the Green
For the last three years, Indian Trails Golf Course has hosted the Community Fore Kids Golf Outing. All proceeds from this event benefit recreation programming for underserved youth in Grand Rapids. Since 2017, the Community Fore Kids golf outing has partnered with 73 community organizations, hosted 352 participants and raised $80,000 for youth recreation.
Community Impact
The Community Fore Kids golf outing has primarily funded a free summer day camp at Martin Luther King Park. The program, hosted by Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation, has seen incredible growth since its first year in 2017.
With the help of partners and players in the Community Fore Kids Golf Outing, the City hopes to expand summer camp opportunities to more Grand Rapids youth in new locations.
